Our History:

The Owner, Tommy O'Donnell, started his construction business back on the East Coast. Born & raised in New Jersey, Tommy has traveled across the U.S. gaining construction experience. Tommy has lived on the West Coast, where he built beach homes in Oxnard, Ventura and Santa Barbara, California, alongside and learning from construction masters. Tommy has also completed multiple Historical Renovations in West Hartford, Connecticut, adding to his extensive Renovation knowledge. He moved to Hawaii in 1986, committing a year to serving in ministry work, and helping run a Bible Study at the University of Hawaii. Roots began to grow as he fell in love with the Hawaii lifestyle, and joined the Carpenter's Union. After only a couple of years, he decided to follow his dreams of creating his own company, ODonnell Construction, in 1991, alongside his wife Pauline. With Pauline in the office, and Tommy in the field, they have been helping customers for 33 years. They have been Blessed with faithful and dedicated employees who have worked with the company for decades.

    Historical Home on Oahu
    Tommy and his crew have helped us with many renovation projects on our 100+ year old home on Oahu. We have been using O'Donnell Construction for 30+ years exclusivley. From our large kitchen reonvation, to Replacing entire exterior walls damged from rain. Mind you, they had to source, matching siding, which could not be found, for our 100 year old home. They found a local wood shop, to custom cut matching siding for our Historic home, which was just amazing. They also, put a whole new Metal roof, and gutters on a cottage home on the property, after replacing much of the termite eaten rafter structure of the roof. We will not hire anyone else. They are that good. We reccommend them to all our friends.
